Welcome to a recent feature here at Elysium Lifestyle where we feature interviews with some of our members, asking them each the same ten questions. This week, we listen to what Lyric our Discord’s unofficial “bard/pup”, has to say about hierarchy.
1. What role do you identify as, and how does your style/interpretation of this role align/differ from other styles you have come across?
I identify as a fag, as well as a pup. I would say my style is different in the sense that I try to ensure that the Men I serve are getting more than just sexual or domestic needs met. I prefer to be able to help them in mind, body, and spirit… even if all I can do oftentimes for spirit is to make them laugh.
2. When did you realize and accept your role? What triggered your sexual awakening?
I have had an innate sense of the Hierarchy ever since I can remember. However, it was only after discovering hierarchy-related sites that I came to be able to put it into words. Learning about being a pup came much sooner. I’ve been a pup for about 5 years now, and I couldn’t be happier.
3. What was your first time fully experiencing your role like?
It was like finding a puzzle piece that I didn’t even realize was missing, and placing it where it belongs. I feel more complete now that I live my truth.
4. What do you look for / expect in someone of the opposite role?
For starters, patience. I’m not ashamed to admit that to deal with me on a kink level requires a fair amount of it, though it is something I am working on. I also look for creativity, and a balance between firmness and affection. I can’t speak for all fags, but if I was only looking for someone to bark orders at me, I’d go live with/nearby my mother.
5. What do you look for / expect in someone claiming to be of the same role?
I can’t say I look for anything from someone claiming the same role. I don’t feel it’s my place to have any expectations of them. However, I do want to know that they are happy in their service, as well as being taken care of. Opening yourself up in the way that we fags do can be dangerous if it’s to the wrong person, because in doing so, we expose all of our vulnerabilities. So, if they are serving someone who is taking advantage of that, regardless of my place in the Hierarchy, I’ll do my best to help them get out of that.
6. How do you develop your role to learn, grow, and improve?
By being honest with myself and my Master, by continuing to interact with everyone within Elysium, and learning more about myself and the ways I am able to provide service.
7. What’s the kinkiest thing you’ve ever done / want to try / or do again?
I don’t know how many people would find this kinky, but I would love to be fucked in public again. It’s only happened a few other times, but the danger of it only heightened the hotness of it for me. I’ve also been interested in trying fireplay, but Master isn’t confident in his abilities to do anything like that, and is afraid of hurting me (not without good reason).
8. What was one of the best or worst experiences you’ve had in your role?
I haven’t really had very many bad experiences in my role. However, I think one of my best was when Master first got here, and put my collar on me for the first time. It almost felt like a kinky wedding with nobody around, as well as a cementing of my place as his pup.
9. What does “hierarchy” mean to you? What brings you joy since discovering the hierarchy?
For me, Hierarchy describes the multi-level caste system we live in that’s hidden underneath society. In one form or another, we all serve someone, even if it’s just an employer. However, there are those who are born to lead and do fantastic things, and then those who are predisposed to follow, and give those individuals everything they can in order to help them succeed.
10. What advice would you give to someone new to the hierarchy?
Learn to swallow your pride. It’s one of the greatest barriers a fag can have in providing great service. I’m not afraid to say that this is something I’m having to work on myself, but thankfully, Master is very patient with me, and is helping me to grow as a person, as well as a fag.
You can find lyric and other faggots on our Discord. And if you find him, make sure you ask him to sing you a song and then toss him a bone for being a good boy..

I like the comment about the caste system hidden under society. It’s voluntary, and we are where we need to be.
